Rosehip Seed oil has to be one of nature’s best kept secret. Extracted from the seed of the small rose plant, this oil is actually considered a dry oil because it absorbs into your skin without leaving a greasy residue. Rosehip Seed oil has been used for centuries by Egyptians,  Mayans and Native Americans for its amazing healing properties.

This small plant is rich in antioxidants, which helps protect against free radicals, it’s full of vitamins and works on a cellular level to rejuvenate your skin (amazing, right?!) It’s also rich in fatty acids which helps to correct discoloration, all while hydrating your skin and it reduces the appearance of scars.

BENEFITS

Helps with wrinkles and premature aging

Reduces the appearance of stretch marks and scars

Helps to repair sun damage

Great for hyper-pigmentation

We chose to use Rosehip Seed oil in each and every one of our Botanical Face Serums and in our Botanical Face Toners because it’s skin balancing, gentle on sensitive skin, and works great on soothing skin irritations like eczema and dermatitis. For best usage, warm two drops of the Carrot con Leche Face Serum between your hands and press the oil onto your face, neck and decolletage. This oil makes for a great night moisturizer in replace of heavy night creams. Did we mention that it works great on any skin type. When directly applied to your skin, you actually receive all the nutrients and benefits from the plant.

TIP: Apply a small amount of the oil to your nail to help strengthen and prevent brittle nails.
