Beta carotene contain compounds such as vitamin A, minerals and antioxidants. The antioxidants found in beta carotene protect against free radicals, reverse cell damage and helps to slowdown the aging of cells, pigmentation of the skin and uneven skin tone. This is great for skin at any age, but more importantly aging skin and for individuals that suffer from hyper-pigmentation, scaring from blemishes and acne because helps even your skin tone and remedies breakouts.

Beta carotene is the yellow orange pigment that gives vegetables and fruit their rich color. When consumed the human body converts beta carotene into vitamin A.  Vitamin A is responsible for cell repair and cell growth, hence  healthy skin and it helps boost our immune system, vision and sight. Beta carotene can also be found in apricots, carrots, broccoli, grapefruit, kale, plums, peppers, spinach, squash and many more fruits and veggies.

Carrots also contain vitamin C which is also known as ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid is key to the production of collagen, a vital protein that aids in the growth of cells and blood vessels, not to mentiion it gives skin its elasticity, firmness and strength. We choose to include real carrots in our product line for this very reason. Carrots are rich in potassium, calcium, vitamin A & C. It naturally hydrates your skin, minimize the appearance of wrinkles, scars, treat pimples, acne and it will leave your skin glowing.

I have a confession, like many, in my pre-teens I suffered from blemishes and had pimples. But my mother would use two things on my face growing up to remedy my breakouts. The two ingredients included an aloe plant and carrots. As weird as it may sound, it really works. This old Caribbean remedy has been passed down from generation to generation and now I am passing it down to you. The combination of organic carrots, aloe, milk and omega fatty acids found in the fish oils make a vitamin fortified luxurious skin collection.
