D.I.Y. Sweet Potato Facial

Did you know that sweet potato is good for your skin? Sweet potatoes are packed with vitamins that aide even skin tone and fight the signs of aging.

This nutrient packed veggie is mother natures very own skin lightening and wrinkle fighting secret. Packed with beta-carotene this anti-oxidant helps fight free radicals inside and outside the body. Here a recipe for a skin hydrating facial.

 

What you’ll need:

1/2 cup of fresh, cooked and pureed sweet potatoe (the darker the sweet potatoe the richer the carotene).
1 tablespoon of Jacq’s Organics Lavender Shea Cream
2 tablespoons honey
1/8 tablespoon Jacq’s Organics Lavender Face Serum

Start by mixing all of the ingredients together in one bowl.
Let the mixture sit in a tub of warm water for 15 minutes (this ensures active enzymes).

Apply to clean, moist skin. Leave the mask on for about 20 minutes, or until it begins to harden before wiping off with a warm washcloth.
