Easy 5 Minute Halloween Makeup for Kids

Halloween is days away! With family fun time at pumpkin patches, dressing up in favorite characters and candy treats who isn't excited about fall's harvest and festivities.
But what does a parent do when you know traditional Halloween makeup is laced up with not so friendly ingredients and you have a bare face kid waiting for costume makeup. Pull out your green beauty makeup bag, that's what you do. Here's how I turned my kiddo into a little fawn using Juice Beauty, Lily LoLo Cosmetics and Bare Minerals, body products and and ingredients in my pantry.

White Face Paint

Mix ingredients together until consistency is liquefied. If too liquid-y add more starch, if too dry add more oil.

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics conducted a study and found that 10 out of 10 tested children's face paints contained lead, nickel and heavy metals.  Here is one way to avoid using face paint that contain questionable and not-so friendly ingredients. Have fun! Share your painted faces on instagram and twitter.  Be sure to tag us and let us know how you used it.
