Summer traveling is so much fun! But vacationing in Italy is even much more fun. Venice has been on our vacation hit list and we were so excited to finally get to visit this beautiful floating city. Each morning, we would wake up to an amazing voice of a passing gondola singer singing romantic Italian songs. It was dreamy and just surreal.
We spent 72 hours in Venice and James, my husband, wanted to make sure he saw, experienced and enjoyed our trip. So, we came up with a 72 hour guide on how to do Venice.
The best way to describe Venice is like being thrown back into time. It's a walking city where gondolas and motor boats are the main source of transportation. But walking the streets of Venice is so enchanting because you get to find hidden jewels like restaurants, boutiques, old churches or old monuments. The beauty in the city are the old buildings, quaint city streets and the old piazza's which are public squares or marketplaces that are little gathering places that make up the city. But, here's my list of a few places to visit while in Venice.
